Inanna - Goddess of Love

Located at the western edge of Asia, Turkey is a land where the legacy of great empires—including Anatolia, Byzantium, and the Ottoman Empire—still lives on. Around the 15th century, the Ottoman Empire—which defeated the Crusaders, conquered the Eastern Roman Empire, and expanded its territory into Central Europe and North Africa—boasted a culture as diverse and splendid as its vast domain. However, due to continuous wars after the 16th century and the aftermath of the French Revolution in the 18th century, the Ottoman Empire entered a period of decline. The novel Inanna is set during this very period, beginning at the empire’s twilight.
