Shimhoon Grand Prize
Established in 2014. This literary award discovers Asian writers, including Korean writers, who have raised awareness of peace, justice, and concern for one's neighbors, and who have contributed to the development of world literature. A Special Award has been presented alongside it since the 3rd award in 2016, and since the 6th award in 2019 the prize has been judged on short stories published in literary magazines during the preceding year.
